Auckland 3 night Getaway

Thank you for all the preparations with bookings, documents, insurance etc for the families. It went well and was enjoyed by all of us. We didn’t want to get off!!!  The grandkids had a fabulous time with so much to do. There was never a bored day! Our eldest grandson (13), we hardly saw him as he was in the club room and made friends which was nice.

The rooms were comfortable. We were pleased to board at 1pm, enjoyed meals, activities and to sail out at 10pm instead of 2am. We all went to the top back deck, and the city as you mentioned was so beautiful with all the lights while sailing away. I was so over the moon for the families to see that.  The sailing was so smooth and I had to look at the sea if we were moving or not, haha.

Unfortunately, I missed out a lot to take photos of the characters. They were so beautiful and the kids loved it. My husband even hugged the dinosaur one (embarrassed but everyone was laughing)

The food was good. We enjoyed the sit down and be served at one with 3 course meals. We went to three different restaurants.  The last one, we went to ‘Animations’ dinery and it was so amazing. Mind blowing. Everyone had to draw a character and write their name down. When the drawings were collected from each one, they made a video with all those drawings and at the end with all names on. It was amazing!  During the day, in between meals, there were hamburgers, chips, hot dogs, pizzas, healthy eats, fruit etc to eat anytime. You never go hungry and there was soft serve ice cream, cool drinks, hot drinks to help yourself, unlimited! Wow! Nice for the kids!
